FFIC India E-sports Tournament Format
The tournament begins with two qualifying rounds. The teams will compete against each other to advance to the FFIC 2022 Spring League stage.
Participants must first complete the Free Fire Cup (FFC) mode in the Open Qualifiers. At the same time, the top 42 teams will go to a closed tournament.
These 42 teams will compete in the newly ranked Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) 2021 Winter Tournament, with 6 teams finishing 7th to 12th.
The top 12 teams will advance to the closed qualifiers from February 16-20, and will advance to the FFIC 2022 Spring League stage along with the top 6 teams in the Winter 2021 FFPL 2021.
FFIC 2022 Spring continues later with the team in three league stages, play-ins and grand finals. The top 18 teams on the League Stage are divided into 3 groups of 66 teams. Each group will play in a round robin format from March 11th to 27th.
This lasts for 3 weeks. The top two teams from each of the three groups advance directly to the Grand Finals. After that, the remaining 12 teams will participate in the match on April 3rd. This will force them to compete for the remaining six places in the Grand Finals.
Garena Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2022 Spring Winning Prize
This time, the event organizers kept the prize pool at 1 million rupees. The winner of this tournament will have a chance to represent their region in the Free Fire World Series 2022 Sentosa Grand Finals, while the runner-up will compete in the FFWS 2022 Sentosa Games.
The top 12 entrants from FFIC 2022 Spring will also be eligible for direct entry to the next Free Fire Pro League 2022 Summer.
How to register for the Free Fire India Championship
- Firstly, open the Garena Free Fire Game.
- Then go to main lobby and tap on the trophy icon in the upper right section.
- An Indian Free Fire Championship poster will shown on the screen with important information such as schedule, goals and progress.
- To make your FFC squad, tap the Squad button in the upper right tab.
- Fill your contact information, name, region, avatar and banner.
- Invite registered members using the “Invite Friends” option on February 11th between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM EST to play FFC mode.
